Reporting interval and server information can be set by SMS or TCP/UDP commands.l Geofence: Device sends an alarm message to the server when entering or exiting a predefined area.
l Backup battery: With a backup battery, the device sends a tamper message if the main power supply harness is disconnected.
l Over speed limit: Reports over-speed limit if vehicle’s speed is over the limit.
l Mileage: Reports mileage of the vehicle.
l 3-axis accelerometer: With a built-in 3-Axis Accelerometer, harsh braking, harsh acceleration, and impact are detected. The g-profile is sent to server for analysis.
l Storing message: The device stores up to 1000 messages if out of coverage and send the stored messages once the device regains coverage.
l Low voltage detection: Device switches to deep sleep mode if supply voltage drops below a threshold.
l Power saving mode: Device periodically wakes up and sleeps when vehicle engine is OFF.
l CAN communication: CAN-BUS can read the vehicle internal information.
l OTA (Over the Air): The device’s firmware can be upgraded via TCP.
