BATTERY INSTALLATION：
Requires one standard 9V battery (not included).
Battery compartment is located on the bottom of the meter.
Lift clip to access the battery compartment.
Connect a new 9V battery.
Replace the cover and securely snap in place. The meter is now ready for use.

OPERATION:
Remove the protection Cap from the unit.
Press the center button to turn the unit on. The LOW LED will illuminate and the LCD will display (Lower dashes on LCD).
Press the two pins firmly against surface to be measured.
LCD with indicate % moisture content of the material being measured.It has a range of 8-30%. Below 8% will display (Lower dashes on LCD).
Above 30% will display (Upper dashes on LCD).

MOISTURE READINGS:
Green: 8%—14% indicates "air-dry" conditions.
Yellow: 14%—20% indicates increased moisture.
Red: 20%—30% indicates excess moisture.
